Download
Run RinkSide-Setup.exe. It installs the RinkSide launcher and opens it.

Make an account
Your username is your name in the game and on the standings.

Install and play
Pick your NHL Legacy disc image and install. It takes a few minutes and needs about 10 GB. Then press Play online.
- 2026-27 rosters
- Every player on his current team, with current ratings and photos. The launcher updates them before you play.
- Online versus
- Ranked quick matches, or invite a friend into your game. No router setup.
- Today's rules
- 3-on-3 overtime, a skater added for the power play, then the shootout. Utah, Seattle and Vegas in their own colours.
- Keeps itself current
- The launcher keeps the game, rosters and pictures up to date. Your settings and saves stay put.
